The short version
ToolsYard tools run entirely in your browser. Files you upload are never sent to any server — all parsing and analysis happens locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your files or their contents.
File processing
When you drop or select a file (e.g. a .eml or
.msg file), it is read
by JavaScript running in your browser using the Web File API.
The file data stays in your browser's memory for the duration of your session and is never transmitted over the network.
Local storage
We store one item in your browser's localStorage:
your theme preference (light or
dark).
This never leaves your device.
Advertising
ToolsYard may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show relevant ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out via Google's ad settings. We do not control the data Google collects for advertising purposes.
Hosting & infrastructure
ToolsYard is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP address, browser type, page visited) for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Analytics
We do not use any third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no tracking pixels).
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of ToolsYard after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
